Capestrano, the mouths of the river Tirino, the hermitages and the villages of Majella. Navelli is a crossroads between the Gran Sasso National Park and the mountains of the Laga, the Sirente Velino Regional Park and the Majella National Park.
The "Villa urbane" is an independent portion of a historic block, in excellent condition, with exclusive external appliances and common court. The property adapts to activities of tourist reception or as a relaxing house, escape from the metropolitan chaos in the atmosphere of Navelli. This village gives the name to the homonymous plain on which it adapts, it is known as the home of the Saffron, precious spice defined "Gold Red" cultivated on site since the medieval age.
The ancient town, one of the most characteristic and interesting in the national panorama, is located in the province of L'Aquila, ancient and noble city where history and art are always ready to surprise.
The village enjoys a central position from which you can easily reach both the wonderful surrounding mountains of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, and the Adriatic coast; from the characteristic villages of Santo Stefano di Sessanio and Capestrano that with its river Tirino, declared the cleanest in Europe, has always been a destination for lovers of history and nature.
The property is located in the historic center of the village, in a reserved position, has car access and parking in the common courtyard; it has excellent exposure and visual opening, both from the balconies of the first floor and from the large windows on the ground floor; bright and sheltered from the main winds, with garden that is natural complement of the house, space to live outdoors, enjoyable during all the seasons. The residence is in good condition of maintenance and is described as follows:
Composed on two levels, of a total of 202 sqm cadastral, has two entrances to the ground floor, the main one introduces into the distribution space between the kitchen, the pantry with laundry corner, the double storeroom; the second entrance introduces to the living room - lunch. The kitchen is the heart of the house, preserves the ancient kitchenette, with masonry compartments, with fireplace and the original terracotta floor.
The stone staircase leads to the upper floor; between the first and second ramp there is a small bathroom service, (of those of the old houses) renovated and functional. The first floor has a distribution space, obtained around the volume of the new bathroom, (a parallelepiped decorated in intense red stucco), the large living room on one side characterized by the blue colour, the bedrooms on the other side.
The original floors have been preserved where possible and the colors of the original interior paintings have been reproduced. Red, like blue, derive from the reading of the colors used for the finishes of the interiors in the noble palaces of the village. The oak parquet has replaced part of the flooring, with the inserts in polychrome marble and onyx. The ancient fireplace in the living room has assumed a new more ornamental role, although still functional.
The exterior fixtures were replaced a few months ago. The property is complete with a characteristic garden...
